Charles Gregg

BACKGROUND

Charles Gregg grew up in the antique business as his parents were European Antique dealers. This was the early 60's and the collections were acquired directly from estates or from major auctions. Eventually his family became one of the first in the southeast to begin importing antiques and collectibles from England for wholesale to the trade, which developed into auctioning containers to the public.

In his college years he opened three retail stores scattered between his home and his school.

In the seventies when he was a collector of the Art Nuevo period, recognized that the average household had no idea about the amazing pieces they were living with in their day to day lives. Hence, he obtained his appraiser certificate and auctioneer licence and founded an appraisal/auction company with there different location to serve the metroplex Denver, Colorado with antique auctions, estate liquidation services, charity functions and evaluation for the public and business inventories.

In the eighties, he moved to Houston, Texas and had been serving the public and businesses in the area ever since.

For Charles Gregg, the passion in dealing with antique and collectibles continues, unhindered.
